Pradeep Kumar's Success Story
My name is Pradeep Kumar. I live near Daily Bazaar, Viraj Khand - 2, Bada Bharwara, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. I completed my 12th grade in 2023 from Rajkiya Inter College, Raja Fatehpur, Amethi.
Due to financial difficulties at home, I moved to Lucknow and applied for jobs at various places. However, everywhere I went, I was asked if I had completed a computer course. When I said 'no,' they told me that getting a job without computer skills would be difficult.
Because of this, I was feeling quite frustrated at home. One day, some brothers and sisters visited my house and informed me that they were doing an internship at Let's Give Hope Foundation. They also told me that Let's Give Hope Foundation had established Saksham Skill Center in my area, where computer, sewing, and mehndi courses were taught for just Rs. 100 per month.
I asked them about the computer course and the center and gathered all the necessary information. The very next day, I visited the center and met Akhil Sir to learn more about the computer course. In June 2024, I enrolled in the course.
My Journey in the Course: When I joined the computer course, I did not even know how to turn on a computer. However, within a month, I became familiar with it. By the end of six months, under the guidance of Akhil Sir, I learned several important computer skills, such as: ✔ Turning the computer on and off
✔ Creating files and folders
✔ Typing in Hindi and English
✔ Using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
After completing the course, I started learning English typing.
Journey to Getting a Job: In February 2025, Akhil Sir informed me about a job vacancy at McDonald's and helped me prepare for the interview. During my computer basics course, I had created my own CV, which I took with me for the interview. I am happy to share that I got selected, and my joining will be after Holi.
My job starts at 6 PM, so I will continue learning English typing at the center in the afternoon and work at McDonald's in the evening.

I also express my gratitude to Ashish Sir, the founder of Let's Give Hope Foundation, and his entire team for establishing such an excellent skill center and providing skills at a very affordable fee.
