Self-Defense Training Program
Lucknow, October 17. In collaboration with Let's Give Hope Foundation, Jakson Group organized a self-defense training program for over 700 female students of Subhash Chandra Bose Government Girls Postgraduate College at LDA Stadium, Aliganj. This program aims to boost the self-confidence of young women and equip them with self-defense techniques to tackle serious issues like harassment and violence.
Experts demonstrated techniques such as blocking, punching, and kicking to help young women defend themselves during difficult times or unexpected attacks. This empowering program will make the students more resilient.
The event featured Dr. Neeraj Bora - MLA, North Lucknow, Squadron Leader Abhay Pratap Singh (Retd.) - Joint Secretary, DCCI, Special Guest Mr. Kumar Abhishek, Senior Manager - CSR, Mr. Vivek Srivastava, AGM - IT Division Jakson Group, Principal Professor Anuradha Tiwari, and Mr. Ashish Maurya - Founder and President of Let's Give Hope Foundation, along with the entire team.
Compared to boys, girls are more sensitive to violence. They face a higher risk of sexual harassment, abuse, stalking, and domestic violence. Therefore, the program's goal was to provide self-defense training to help them feel empowered and confident.
Additionally, the program taught girls essential skills like communication, self-care during dangerous situations, and how to protect themselves or help others in need. Let's empower young women and create a safer community together!"
